he feels like such a relic of a bygone age at this point—I'm glad I got into him as a teenager because he definitely (especially through Hello Internet) helped set me on the path I'm on now, but looking back on it he's a really odd mixture of technopessimism and futurism that doesn't sit well with me at all.
